Orchids Spiking Now

Poor catts have all been able to get a little sun every day so far for almost a week. Here's what was spiking, and amazingly they're opening anyway! Well, except for the one catt (not pictured). Observe the sickly pale yellow of the newest growths - also extremely fragile, one touch and they bruise. That's what happens when they grow without light.

Nice! All my orchids are "resting" I think... patiently waiting for them to bloom, I'm experimenting with miniatures, less space.
