Orchid Society picnicking right now. Lots of plants, already bought a bunch - shhhh, don't tell Hubby!
After the picnic: I was seriously freaking uber-miserable weather-wise. The goddamn mosquitoes were at me despite the spray - my face got bitten!?! The greenhouses were incredibly hot, and I didn't see any vent systems, but it was heaven strolling through their selections. I really enjoyed this visit so much more than Hausermann's, I have to say. They have a huge selection of species and compact catts, I found their set-up so easy to walk around (except the really narrow rows), shopper-friendly - there's pics so you don't have to guess or ask what the heck it's gonna look like, and Greg and Liese are just the nicest, friendliest, patient people around, happy to answer questions, however silly.
