Book - The Axeman's Jazz

Interesting fluffy read. The writing could have been better. I like Skip Langdon. I have to say, even for today, the genesis of the murderer shocked me. It was unbearably sad.

Someone's reviving an old serial killer from 1912, killing the same way. After a possible link with support groups is found, the department goes undercover attending the anonymous groups to find a suspect. There's quite a lot of detail on what goes on in the meetings, along with psychological assessments by a shrink brought in to help with the cases.
